The members of Orgy, Jay Gordon (vocals), Amir Derakh (guitar-synths), Ryan Shuck (guitar), Paige Haley (bass), and Bobby Hewitt (drums); have described their music as "Death Pop" in the past, but few agree on what to call their interesting blend of rock, metal, and electronica. The band was formed in 1997 and signed to Korn's Elementree record label soon after. They quickly released their first album, "Candyass." Soon after, they performed the duty of opening act on the Family Values tour in '98 where they were introduced to many, for the first time. Around this same time, they had their first hit with a cover of New Order's "Blue Monday", followed with successful singles for "Stitches" and "Fiction (Dreams in Digital)." After the release of their second album, "Vapor Transmission", they left Elementree records, and largely disappeared from the public eye. Bobby briefly joined Snake River Conspiracy for a while and Jay formed his own independent record label, D1 Music, with his father.

Pantomime Lyrics

Orgy

They feel theyve raised her
The new queen of evolution
Her fate wont see to that
Cause were gonna know her later
Grab that girl
Get her home
Lets put her on restriction
Last time we let her go
She missed 2 days of school
Lets get her back
Get her back
Chorus
This feels like a real life fantasy
It feels like you
Relaxed in vermin life
Applause takes place of feeling bad
So you tried it
Recalling memories
Of charm school pantomime turned so bad
Dainty socialite
She changed her point of view
And now shes bad
Cant hide it
I think she really liked
All the things that she learned
Chorus
Be a good girl like your supposed to
Dominate your fears
Be a good girl like your supposed to
Dominate your fears
Good girls like you should be
I think you better know
Chorus
